An Overview of the Itinerary

DAY 1: Arrival King Island & Golf Day

Today, you’ll travel to King Island, where you’ll play at Ocean Dunes King Island Golf Club, which has a wide variety of golf greens, as well as subtle, rolling greens with picture-perfect natural settings. This is a perfect harmony between nature, design, and condition. The 18th hole-Wallaby, 400 meters, is the only hole on the course where you cannot see the water unless you stand on tiptoes. Carts are available, as well as pull buggies. And your accommodation for the night will be at King Island.

DAY 2: Golf Day-Cape Wickham

Designed by Mike DeVries and Darius Oliver, the course quickly gained international recognition. Each hole on the course has an ocean view, which is extremely rare, and no two holes are alike. We provide pull buggies and carts. After that, they stay at King Island accommodation.

DAY 3: Transfer Day – Launceston – Barnbougle:

Today you have some time to relax on King Island, then you travel to Launceston in the afternoon, and then we transfer to Barnbougle, so that you may prepare for tomorrow’s golf course. Our accommodations will be at Barnbougle Accommodation, including their 3.5-star Cottages at The Dunes, and the 4.5-star Luxury Golf Lodge at Lost Farm. No matter the size of your group or budget, Barnbougle has an accommodation option for you. Barnbougle is where you will stay tonight.

DAY4: Golf Day – Barnbougle Dunes

With its spectacular vistas of Tasmania’s North East Coast, The Dunes is a Links Golf Course unlike any other in Australia, rated #2 by Australian Golf Magazine (2013) and #11 by U.S. Golf Digest. We provide pull buggies. Then you will stay at Barnbougle.

DAY5: Golf Day-Lost Farm & Homeward Bound

A short pitching wedge away from The Dunes lays Barnbougle’s second installment – Lost Farm. Although Lost Farm is close to The Dunes, it offers a remarkably different experience, with 20 holes winding along the coast and through the coastal dunes. Following that, we transfer back home to Launceston airport.

According to your convenience and comfort, feel free to contact Tasmania Coachlines to design your own golf tour.
